organizational age, richard florida, notes
"…the long trajectory of modern capitalism has involved the relentless extension of the working day across time and space – first through electricity and the light and now via the personal computer, the mobiel phone and the internet."(p. 122, the irse of the creative class, richard florida).
things were changing from being technaly able to produce to being more efficient of organizing the production (globilisation f. expl.).focus on the research, science, think tanks etc. factories were built to produce more knowledge to produce more products. generaly spoken this just means that more space was needed to produce.
Incontrast to the idea that wired and wireless information age has made location and community irrelevant, a lot of people say that these are still highly important. Location seems to get more important then income. People insist of stimulating environments.
Many will not consider taking jobs in certain cities or regions when the only would offer a challenge as a job career.
Working and living returns to "home", the big morphing. Offices are offering a cosy living space or people work from home.home is getting more difficult to define as work space is.
Time and space define comunication systems.
Flexible working schedules or flexible working spaces make devices like the cel phone or the internet so important. This is now, the big change in society that defines the role of cyber space and logicaly the change of society (this is important will lead to a new aspect of space beingh too big for this project and so will "only" be mentioned).
